Princesses on Ice

There couldn't be a more perfect show for a little girl who loves princesses. Mommy and Daddy took me to see Disney's Princesses on Ice. Micky and Minnie narrated, and I was riveted to the action....Daddy, not so much, but he never once complained.

Bean Bag

I recently went somewhere where they had this really great pink bean bag. I was devastated that I couldn't take it home with me. Lo and behold, Mommy found one and couldn't resist surprising me with it. I was so excited that I insisted holding it on my lap in the car. 

First Swim Lesson

I have been chomping at the bit to go to swim lessons. When I was a baby, and my schedule was less busy, I took weekly swimming lessons. Last summer, I went from jumping off the side and swimming across the pool to not wanting to even be in the pool (???)...so we are starting again with the basics. This year, I am really motivated and can't wait to learn how to really swim.

Easter 2011

Easter weekend was spent with BaBa in Victoria, but luckily the Easter Bunny knew where I was and filled my basket with lots of goodies. Easter afternoon, we went to my friend Chloe's house where they have an annual get-together for friends and family. I was having a great time until I ran in front of someone swinging and was knocked for a loop. I recovered and was doing fine again until HE showed up...the Easter Bunny that is. I am quite frightened by him, so we left shortly thereafter. We ended up having a nice egg hunt at home in our backyard. We'll be eating Easter candy for a long while...shucks!

First Wedding

Today I attended my first wedding (or ball as I continued to call it throughout the afternoon). Given my affinity for all things princess, I thought the bride/bridesmaids were simply lovely. I quickly forgot about them; however, when I saw the ring bearer. He was in a tuxedo and was just my size. His name was Logan (or king as I continued to call him throughout the afternoon).

Dollie and Me Tea Party

My doll and I got dressed in matching outfits, I strapped her in the backpack, and we headed to the mall for a "Dollie and Me Tea Party". Unfortunately, the Easter Bunny was making an appearance there, and I am not a fan! We ended up walking around the mall and having an alternate tea party at Chic-fil-a in the food court. Even though we didn't attend the tea party, it was a super fun afternoon.

Rain, Rain, Come Today

We are having a bit of a drought here, so when we woke up this morning to cloudy skies, Mommy mentioned that it might rain. I LOVE rain gear, so I promptly pulled it all out - the rain boots, jacket, hat, umbrella...

It did NOT rain!

Buddy Day

The Communications Department at the university invited us to attend their "Buddy Day" where I was paired up with a student who is studying to be a speech-language pathologist. She and I visited the various booths/games and even made a tie-dye shirt (which I sleep in every night!).
