Sushi
This is a child who has a striking resemblance to me, but could not possibly be me...because SHE is eating soft-shelled crab!

Christmas Morning 2010
Even though I was unsure of the whole process of Santa making it around the world to deliver presents, going down the chimney, etc...he did it! I woke up this morning to the "Barbie Kings" I had requested in addition to other fun presents from Mommy and Daddy. I opened every present with enthusiasm and gratitude, saying, "I love it! Thank you!" My favorite toy so far is the new addition to my dollhouse - the outdoor recreation gear.

Family Christmases
Christmas always means time with extended family. Mommy's family came to our house this year for the first time. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE when my cousins are here. In addition to the hours of play and some birthday cake for BaBa, we had a cookie decorating contest...there are some serious competitors in this family! We also traveled to Houston to spend some time with Daddy's family and Aunt Pearl.

Chrstmas Art Project
Many years ago. my BaBa made holiday place mats from old Christmas cards. It's something Mommy always loved, so she's saved cards for a while and every year intends to tackle the project. Well, this was the year it finally happened. We cut out pretty pictures and quotes, glued them on the paper and then had them laminated. We love them!

Gingerbread House 2010
I couldn't wait to decorate the gingerbread house this year. Mommy had wised up and gotten the pre-built house since we have always had great difficulty getting one to stay together long enough for it to get decorated. I have about a three minute attention span for all artsy projects, so after Mommy filling in the missing pieces, check out our masterpiece.

Show and Tell
Every Friday, we have show and tell at school. Mommy was there for today's presentation, during which my friend Gavin's claw tried to get my Barbie, until I swooped in to save her.
Skylar's Party
One of my favorite friends is Skylar. We are just a few weeks apart in age and lived a couple of houses down when we were first born. Both of us have now moved out of the neighborhood, so we don't see each other as often as I would like. I did go to Pease Park today to help her celebrate her 4th birthday. There was a petting zoo and a pony ride. A few months ago, I wouldn't have wanted to do either, but now I just hopped right on the pony and happily petted the animals.
