Mommy's BIG Birthday

Mommy celebrated a BIG birthday today. The plans for a big celebration (complete with Willie Nelson) dwindled down (per Mommy's request and the $200K price tag for Willie) to a simple dinner with best friends. If you guessed that it was Mommy's 30th birthday, you would make her day, but you would be wrong...

Bed Update

So far I have spent two nights and one nap in my "new"(ly configured) bed...without ANY problems. I crawl in and stay there until I wake up, at which time I call Mommy. I wait for her to open the door to my room, and then crawl out and run to give hugs and kisses. It really couldn't have gone more smoothly...other than Mommy's realization that first night that her baby was no longer in a crib.

Big Girl Bed

Guess who's (kind of) in a big girl bed? ME! After my nap, Mommy converted my crib to a toddler bed. It's low to the ground and has a rail, but I can climb in and out at will. That, of course, worried the parents, but I went to bed and stayed there. As Daddy just said...the night is young! Next on the list is getting rid of the binky at night (good luck!) and potty training (double good luck!).

Snore No More

Daddy's snoring prompted him to go in for a sleep test. They discovered he has sleep apnea, so he got this really cool machinge with a mask that he will wear when he sleeps. Tonight I helped him set it up by the bed and adjust the mask. Here's hoping Mommy...I mean Daddy...gets a good night's sleep!

All 20 of my baby teeth are officially in!

Anniversary Party

Today we celebrated the one year anniversary of Mommy's Mommy Group. We had a potluck lunch at the park. There was a bouncy house and games, including a bean bag toss, a ring toss and bowling. I even got a frog "tattoo" on my tummy!

Fun Evening

Yesterday evening, Daddy's partner came over with his family for burgers and swimming. He has ten year old twins, Nathan and Sara, who were so much fun to play with! Older kids tend to play with me, instead of play with my toys (HUGE difference), so we get along great. After dinner we made ice cream sundaes! I was especially fond of the sprinkles and whipped cream...although I did spill the sprinkles on the floor. Mommy swept the floor three times, but is certain we'll be stepping on sprinkles for a long while.

In Search of the Perfect Park

I boasted about how wonderful the parks are in Park City (no, we are not still there...just dreaming that we are). In an effort to find a similar park, Mommy and I have visited several parks around town this week. We have found some really good ones - Rollingwood Park, Springswood Park. Now if we could just duplicate the weather...

Doctor Victoria

Who's next?

I got this new doctor's kit, and I just love it! I put my dolls in the waiting room (chair) and then one by one, put them on the examining table (ottoman). Once I locate their "boo boo", I put medicine on it and then give it a kiss. I also look for "boo boos" on Mommy and Daddy so I can work my magic. When I see a freckle, smudge of dirt, etc...I assume it is a "boo boo" and go to work!

Mayfield Park Visit

We brought BaBa back with us for a few days. We always visit Mayfield Park when she is here because she loves seeing the peacocks. It was a special treat to see one of them had three chicks! In typical two year old fashion, I didn't want anyone else to get near them...because they were MINE, of course!
