It's HOT!!!We wanted to fit in one more fun outing, so my friends from school loaded up the mini-vans and headed south. A new entertainment park opened in San Antonio this past spring. It's not just any park - it's a "special place for special kids". All of the playscapes, areas, activities are designed to accomodate special needs kids. There are several incredible playscapes, a carousel, a gym, a sensory village (which had the BEST pretend grocery store I have ever seen AND I got to be "on t.v." doing the weather), a fishing pond, a track for cars, hands-on water works area, a train...ANY kid would love to play there! Even in the 100 degree weather, we had a great time...and guess how much it cost us to go? FIVE DOLLARS for both Mommy and me! It's the only park of its kind in the nation, and we are so lucky to have it so close. We'll definitely be going back soon and often.
