Although I had the big celebration this past Saturday, we celebrated my actual birthday at home this evening with a cake that Mommy made, but Daddy got credit for. I had asked for a Barbie cake, but I specifically said, "I want Daddy to make me a Barbie cake." I am not sure what prompted this request, given Daddy hasn't baked or cooked one thing in all of my four years. Maybe I thought it was time! Anyway, other than the mishap in which Mommy caught the napkins on fire, the quiet evening at home was just perfect.
