Today I went to my first parade. It was the annual Chuy's Christmas Parade benefiting the Blue Santa program. We brought toys to load onto the designated trucks as they drove by. I really didn't want to hand the Barbie camera over, but I did. There were big balloons, decorated cars, floats with bands playing, animated characters, marching bands... and of course Santa was there! I have never really been a "shoulder sitter", but I sat on my daddy's shoulders happily as I watched the activity. I even used his head as a drum as the bands passed by!
